The Bible says that we are newborn in Christ. Newborn babies grow fast and always hungry. We need hunger to the Word of God to grow as Christians. The Bible itself makes you grow. When your body suffer hunger it becomes weaker, so also with the spirit. When you don't spend time in the Bible you become weaker spiritually. The Word of God fills your cup.
